FEE PAYMENT |
|||
Methods of Tuition Payment Students will pay the universities (not CIS) directly, and upon acceptance, the university will send you an invoice and information on how and where to send your tuition money. Normally, you can send the payment through international courier (traceable) mail, international electronic bank wire, or by credit card. CIS can advise you through this process, if you have any questions.Upon receiving your "letter of acceptance" you will be asked to pay your first semester's tuition. If you plan to attend an Australian or New Zealand University making your payment to the university is very important as pre-payment is directly tied to your required student visa. Upon payment, the university issues you a Confirmation of Enrollment (CoE) and you will need the CoE when you apply for your student visa (and you need the visa to enter the country). When applying to universities in England, Ireland, or Scotland you do not go through the same process to get a visa nor do you need a CoE, but the timely payment is still critical to reserve a space in the program. After you are accepted, CIS will help you with financial aid, if you need it. It is important to get your financial aid forms filled out and processed in a timely fashion so you can make your first semester tuition payment. Your financial aid check will be sent directly to you in one lump sum (for each year), and you are responsible for making payment to the university. You can find more information regarding financial aid by clicking here . Please note that due to U.S. Federal Aid guidelines, students cannot receive their money until 2-4 weeks prior to the beginning of the semester. Thus, you may need to have alternative ways to finance your first payment to the overseas university.
